Projects for each category must be unique and cannot be entered in more than one category. Students may participate in a maximum of 2 projects, excluding the Technology Literacy Challenge.
Projects are to be designed and created by students. Some adult guidance is allowed, but it must be clear that all work entered by students was done by the students.
A document will be filled out by students which will answer a few questions for the judges and will cite non-student produced material used in the project.
Students may not "switch" categories. The project will ONLY be judged in the category in which it won first place at the regional fair. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Students unable to present their projects, even due to illness, may NOT use "proxies." Only students that are part of the original, registered team may represent a project at the Tech Fair.
While we recognize that the world is more connected than ever, we cannot guarantee Internet access in the judging spaces and recommend that you have an off-line copy of any Internet based project. Judges will not penalize a project for not connecting to outside links.
